Shaaban Abdel Rahim

Sha’ban was born in al-‘Assal, an area in al-Shurabiyah. He worked with his father on laundry by day while singing at weddings by night. He realized fame by singing to Ahmed Helmy’s “Atgawiz ‘Aydah”.
