A Brazilian film director, screenwriter and producer, Antonio Carlos da Fontoura was born in 1939, in the city of São Paulo. He wrote and directed a number of documentary shorts and feature-length films, including "Copacabana Me Engana" (1968), "A Rainha Diaba" (1974) and "Gatão de Meia Idade" (2006).
