When I Close My Eyes explores, through the eyes and senses of a 7-year-old girl in New York City, the digital age's homogenizing effect on women and the omnipresent spirit of nature. With a highly developed intuitive, imagination and ability to connect, she navigates a home life in which her mom and sister are unavailable to her, removed physically and emotionally from the present.
