Fairy Tail adapts the first 298 chapters of the original manga. The series won Animax Asia's Anime of the Year Award in 2010, and the Best Japanese Anime Award and Best French Dubbing Award at the 19th Anime & Manga Grand Prix in 2012. The airing time was Wednesdays 19:30 between October 12, 2009 - March 28, 2011. The airing time was changed to Saturdays 10:30 on April 2, 2011.
