Beta policy

Privacy

This is a concise beta privacy notice. It should be reviewed before the first public launch, but it gives testers a clear view of what ForSeenIt collects and how beta data is used.

Account and profile data

We store account identity, profile details, follows, lists, ratings, reviews, comments, and media status actions that you create in ForSeenIt.

Imported data

If you import Letterboxd data, we process the file you provide to create your film history, ratings, reviews, and watch dates. Imported reviews should default to private unless you choose to publish them.

Diagnostics and feedback

Bug reports may include page URL, browser, device, build version, screenshots you attach, and reproduction notes. This context is used only to troubleshoot and improve the beta.

Activity visibility

Some actions may appear in feeds or on profiles depending on product settings. During beta, visibility rules may be adjusted to reduce spam or protect tester privacy.

Data corrections

We intend to preserve beta data, but may correct or remove broken imported data, duplicates, unsafe content, or records created by bugs.
